ORDER: 1 slice of Cheese (house mozzarella blend, fresh tomato sauce, pecorino & basil), 1/2 slice of Buffalo (Mozzarella, provolone, red onion & ranch)

REVIEW: 

Situated in Hell’s Kitchen just west of Times Square, Zillions Pizza is the best slice on 42nd Street. The retro neon lighted and letter board marquee and slick branding might bring you in but its superb New York street slice will keep you coming back. Don't expect a restroom or place to sit but do expect high quality ingredients on super large pies surrounded by a trademark puffy outer edge that is a bread-lovers dream. Beyond the simple yet complex cheese slice, Zillions offers excellent renditions of traditional pies like pepperoni and square Sicilian as well as creative signature concoctions like the spicy sauced and pickled jalapeño, honey infused Hot Damn. Each pie is baked at a high heat in a state of the art electric Pizza Master oven giving each bite a nice crisp crunch. On top of being being conveniently located, Zillions offers lunch specials and perfectly cooked chicken wings. I live across the street, so I’ll meet you at Zillions!

1. Robin Rothman was up all night doing a self tape for an audition. One outtake has her talking to the camera until our cat (MaryLoo) yells for a treat scaring Robin enough to make her scream.

2. After pizza, I went to the Magnet Theater and House Managed (supervised the staff and ensured the shows start on time) for a hilarious Friday night. I really love my theater!

3. At the time I am writing this (Oct 2023), Zillions Pizza is wedged between two marijuana dispensaries - talk about knowing your audience!
