Day 6, 2020: Zion Pizza & Noodle Company (Springdale, UT)

Exterior

DAY 6: OCTOBER 6th, 2020

LOCATION: Zion Pizza & Noodle Company (868 Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy, Springdale, UT 84767)

GUEST(S): Robin Rothman

ORDER: 3.5 slices of half White Sun (Garlic infused Olive Oil, Spinach, Pineapple, Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, cheddar & parmesan cheeses) and half Cholesterol Hiker (Tomato sauce, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, mushrooms, mozzarella & cheddar cheeses)

REVIEW:
Awesome pizza, awe-inspiring surroundings. The town of Springdale, Utah does not have many pizzerias nor many people (population 609) but they have all they need with Zion Pizza & Noodle Company.  Given the prime location in the shadow of the red cliffs of Zion National Park and limited competition, Zion Pizza & Noodle Company does not have to be good but they're good anyway.  This results in long waits of  hungry tourists and returning customers all hoping to get a taste of the humorously named signature pizzas served on their trademark scalloped crust. Expect unique topping combinations like spinach and pineapple on the White Sun or all the meats of the Cholesterol Hiker to be melted within a cheddar and mozzarella cheese mix. The pizzas are as filling as they are tasty. With multiple outdoor seating options, patrons can enjoy their food surrounded by some of the most majestic natural geological wonders the United States has to offer.  Considering the demand and the unique eating experience, I find it endearing that Zion Pizza & Noodle Company keeps their prices reasonable and can't wait eat here again.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Sean & Robin
1. Robin Rothman and I are enjoying our last night on our first RV adventure.

2. We took a slightly longer route between Salt Lake City and Springdale (Utah) through Zion National Park.  We went through a tunnel that only had clearance for the RV in the middle so they had to stop traffic coming the opposite way so we could fit. It cost extra but it was well worth it.  Such a beautiful park.

Deer in Springdale
3. While walking from our RV park to the pizzeria, we saw a deer.
New can insulator
4. Couldn't resist purchasing this can insulator (koozie).  I mean, this product was built for me considering we just had a slice in Zion.
