Day 4, 2020: Hand Fire Pizza (Jackson Hole, WY)

Exterior

DAY 4: OCTOBER 4th, 2020

LOCATION: Hand Fire Pizza (120 N Cache St #1137, Jackson, WY 83001)

GUEST(S): Robin Rothman

ORDER: 3 slices of Burrata Be Kiddin' Me (Prosciutto, whole milk mozzarella, asiago, burrata, fresh arugula dressed in a lemon vinaigrette)

REVIEW:
Hot pizza, cool town. During ski season, Jackson Hole attracts snow-lovers from across the country but bars, boutiques, and great food like Hand Fire Pizza keep the affluent town going strong year 'round. Occupying the space vacated by the closing of the classic Teton Theatre, Hand Fire Pizza enjoys enough foot traffic to do a brisk business from residents and tourists regardless. However, the accommodating staff and kitchen crew go the extra mile to make and bake a great pie. Each one is "hand" crafted and cooked by "fire." While the rush of the bustling business might result in hastily distributed toppings and tad too much oven floor residue, the supremely high quality of the ingredients makes for a tasty pizza anytime of the day. Expect to pay a bit more than your average slice but who wants an average slice when you're surrounded by the Tetons? So, when you're finished at the slopes, drop by Hand Fire Pizza.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Sean Taylor and Robin Rothman

1. Robin Rothman and I scoped out an empty picnic table across the street from the pizzeria - nice place to eat at a social distance.

Yellowstone National Park
2. Mission accomplished.  I have wanted to visit Yellowstone since I was a kid and finally arrived. This is the farthest distance from the origin of our RV adventure.  Now, we head back.
Robin's sunglasses (last seen 10/4/20)
3. Robin's sunglasses popped off her hat and landed "off the path" around Midway Geyser Basin.  Since stepping off the path is strictly prohibited, we left them there. She looked cute in those sunglasses but who knows? maybe a buffalo will come across them and look good in them too.

Moose (trust me, it's there!)
4. Just south of Yellowstone and north of Grand Teton is a place called "Moose" and I'll be darned if we didn't see a lone Moose in the distance.

Grand Teton
5. Nice Tetons, Wyoming!

Blogging by campfire light
6. We finished the night at Moose Creek River Ranch in Idaho's Teton county. I blogged by the light of the campfire until my fingers got too cold to type.
