ORDER: 2 slices of Neapolitan (fresh tomato, oregano, olive oil, garlic and mozzaralla), 1 slice of Frutos Del Mar (Shrimp, octopus sauteed in white wine, mozzarella)

REVIEW:
Peace of Pizza. Attached to the Rio Hotel in downtown Puerto Vallarta you will find the inspirational decor of the COEXISTbistro and cafe. Quoting famous humanitarians such as Nelson Mandela and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the walls exude messages of hope and peaceful coexistence. Not surprising, the cornerstone of the menu is wood-fired pizza. Nothing brings people together like a food designed to be shared. The long and late hours and hip vibe of the cafe indicate an appeal to the club kids coming from the nearby Malecon. But that is not the only draw. Multiple dining areas including seats poolside and street side as well as open air, and conditioned air provide something for everyone. Try the seafood. Caught nearby and cooked to perfection, you may even prefer it by itself. If you love cheese over sauce and crust, you are in luck! With no shortage of melted mozzarella on the pita-like wood-charred crust, the personal sized thin pizzas are surprisingly filling. Come to COEXISTbistro with a friend or enemy - and leave happy.
