Margaritas con Margheritas. When lucky enough to be in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, you can't go wrong at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, the Garza Blanca (White Heron) resort is a paradise within a paradisiacal village. Whether you are drinking frozen drinks at one of several pools, basking in the sun next to an iguana, or swinging on your deck hammock overlooking the crystal blue colored water of the Bahía de Banderas (Bay of Flags), the Garza Blanca resort and its heavenly staff treat you right. And if you are hungry, they got you covered.  The Garza Blanca resort operates several top notch restaurants catering to your every whim in your room, poolside, oceanside, or mountainside. Located on the pool deck near the ocean, the Aquazul (Blue water) is one of these options. And one of the items on the menu is pizza. The pizza has no shortage of cheese thanks to the copious amounts of cheddar and mozzarella. It is expertly cooked in a gas powered oven on a thin and crisp crust that will hit the spot.  Wash it down with a margarita and get back in the pool. ¡Mucho gusto Garza Blanca!

MISCELLANEOUS:

1. Robin Rothman and I arrived from New York City today and what a welcome change of scenery!  Garza Blanca ("white egret") is such a beautiful resort from every angle. The staff is kind and patient. The food and drink is delicious. Man, this is place is paradise!  Turns out Bachelor in Paradise is filmed not too far from Puerto Vallarta.

2. Paul and Lily Rothman have been to Puerto Vallarta before. This is their fifth trip here and I seriously doubt it will be their last.

3. Mexico is actually the United Mexican States.  It consists of 31 states and Mexico City.  Thanks Wikipedia!
