REVIEW:
100 square inches of yum! Traze isn’t your typical NYC slice joint — but it might just become your favorite. Serving up 10" x 10" grandma-style square pies, this Long Island City newcomer is rewriting the pizza playbook one creative combo at a time. The pies are electric oven-baked to crispy perfection with a seasoned crust that holds up to even the boldest toppings. Take the Falafel Pie — fried chickpeas, creamy white sauce, smoked gouda and cheddar on a sesame seed crust that’s like your favorite food truck parked on a pizza. It’s weird, it’s wild, it works. Seasonal slices rotate in and out (Cheesesteak! French Onion Fungi! Squash Goals!), but don’t sleep on the classics. The Margherita and Vodka Flambée prove Traze knows how to walk the line between experimental and traditional.  Every pie gets finished with a post-oven flourish — think olive oil, grated cheese, or a drizzle of hot honey. It’s that extra step that makes each bite unforgettable. Pro tip: get there before the crowds do. Because when the Traze craze hits you'll likely have to wait for your grandma.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Sean Taylor, Lorina Ladrillono, and Greg Turner

1. Lorina Ladrillono recently took up stand up comedy. Reach out to her to find out where she performs next. She might also tell you how she cured her sciatica!

Lorina and a huge lode of swag

2. As with every Quest for the 31 Days of Pizza, Lorina arrives with a bag full of pizza related items that she gifts me. This year, I got a board game, playing cards, a pizza slicer shaped like a hatchet, a pen, a pin, and a bunch of stickers!

3. Greg Turner is a once and future bowler in the Broadway bowling league. I'm in it currently. I play with the Musicians.
