Pizza Inbox: The Ultimate pizza?

Hi Sean. Thanks for your site. It's great. I was wondering if you had a chance to create the ultimate pizza, how would you do it? Would it be Patsy's crust, Lucali sauce, Grimaldi chesse, etc? I guess what I am trying to say is, what place has the best crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, etc. Thanks for your time. - Brian

Hey Brian,

Glad you like the site and I love your "ultimate pizza" term.  My ultimate pizza would be the following:
Totonno's coal-fired brick oven crust, Lucali's family recipe tomato sauce, Paulie Gee's home-made fresh mozzarella, cut with NY Pizza Suprema's Grande mozzarella and Pecorino Romano cheese blend, garnished with freshly grown herbs and spices from Roberta's backyard garden and finished with Dom DeMarco's (of Di Fara) signature olive oil drizzle.  If I opted for a topping, I'd be torn between Patsy's (original) home-made meatball or Patsy's (chain) hand-cut pepperoni.

Now I'm starving!

Thanks for the question.

Take it easy...and cheesy,
Sean

Why is Paulie Gee's mozzarella so special?

He would know better but I sure do love it! Creamy, savory and delicious!
