DAY 29: OCTOBER 29th, 2025LOCATION: Nolita Pizza (68 Kenmare St, New York, NY 10012)
GUEST(S): Michael McLarnon
ORDER: 2 slices of cheese, 1/2 slice of Pepperoni square, 1/2 slice of Burrata
REVIEW:
Great slice joint. Just a block from Little Italy, Nolita Pizza doesn’t just have to make decent pizza—it has to make good pizza. Thankfully, it delivers. The line out the door and the packed cozy dining area say it all: this place is doing something right. Nolita serves the full range of New York–style goodness, from the classic street slice to trendier options topped with pepperoni cups and burrata. The steady stream of customers keeps the pies flying out of the gas-powered deck oven, which means there’s almost always a fresh slice waiting for you. My favorite was the spicy pepperoni square, which stood out among a strong lineup. It was intentionally a bit underbaked, creating a chewy texture that played nicely against the crisp, cracker-like edge. You can't go wrong with the cheese slice either. The sauce-to-cheese ratio hit that sweet New York balance too. Add in the prime location, fair prices, and quick service, and Nolita Pizza is exactly what you want in a city slice spot. I’ll definitely be back for another round.
