REVIEW:
Hoosier daddy. Born and bred (or “bread”) in Indiana, Pizza King locations can be found across the Hoosier state. Some are corporate run, others are franchises. Some have a dine-in area and others are strictly carryout and delivery. Some offer more menu items but in all of them, pizza is king! With different sizes, crusts, and toppings, there are virtually endless amounts of combinations and permutations of pies. Whether you are feeding a family or all the royal subjects, the Pizza King will satisfy them all. Even their traditional crisp midwest thin crust is a bit heartier than their competitors. Since I love the savory tomato sauce and the thin crust, my personal preference would be to ask for extra sauce and light cheese with no more than one salty topping - like sausage or black olives. That said, I recommend you order what you love the most. If the adults want a bunch of toppings, the Royal Feast’s pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and peppers is great on an extra large thin crust. If the kids are into pepperoni, keep it simple and get a pan pizza with just pepperoni. The generous portions of melted cheese and pepperoni on the thicker crust will definitely fill them up. It is nice to know that wherever you are hungry in Indiana, you're not far from the merciful Pizza King.

1. Sunday is sports day at the Dasher household. Russ played an early morning soccer game driven by Bud Dasher and Annie had a double header softball game - driven by Melanie Dasher. The extended family including Uncle Sean, Aunt Robin, and Nana Kitzi all met up at the doubleheader.
Sean Taylor, Annie
2. Before pizza, I watched my niece (Annie) pitch in a doubleheader softball game. She had several stolen bases, a key base hit, and also struck out at least one person per inning pitched! Sean and Robin
3. Robin and I found a place near my mom's house to watch the National League Championship Series game #6 between the Mets and Dodgers. Unfortunately, the Mets lost ending their season...but OMG what a season it was. #lgm
4. Daphne danced to all of the at-bat music played by the opposing team's dugout. It was adorable every time.
