REVIEW:
Freshly baked bread-crust. Tucked in the corner of the menu at Tribeca’s Crispy Heaven Bakery is a section with Neapolitan pizza. Don’t be discouraged by the relatively few options for what they lack in quantity they more than make for in quality. These gas-powered deck oven cooked masterpieces are more than a baked good, they are a baked great! In a cozy work space in a bustling kitchen, the pizza chef goes to work pounding out the perfectly prepped dough then layering rich tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese upon it. Not surprisingly, this bakery knows how to bake bread. The sturdy underside and firm outer edge not only supports the top tier ingredients, but it also assures a tasty pie with every bite of “crispy heaven.” I recommend going with a friend and at least getting one traditional Margherita and opt for the Burrata if you love cheese.
