ORDER: 1 slice of cheese, 1 bite of Caprese
REVIEW:
Bright lights, great pizza. Joe's Pizza, a New York slice institution, has recently gone where few amazing pizzerias have gone before - Times Square! Given the foot traffic the area enjoys, Times Square does not require a top tier slice joint, nor is the cost of rent particularly amenable to it. But, to the knowing local or lucky tourist that might meander one block south of the costumed superheroes, Joe's has saved the day - or at least your lunch. Speaking of superheroes, Peter Parker worked at the cozy West Village Joe's in Spiderman II. The new digs uptown are at least twice as big with double the cooks and ovens to meet the increased demand for the same quality New York street slice that made Joe's famous. Check it out. Chances are, if you're in the city, you're pretty close to the new Joe's.
