| Totonno's in Coney Island |
There is a new plaquard in an old pizzeria - the oldest family owned pizzeria in the country. Totonno's opened its doors in 1924 and, aside from some fire-repair hiatus, has been churning out top notch coal-fired pizza ever since. I had the honor of meeting and awarding Louise Ciminieri my highest pizza honor - the Slicey. Totonno's earned the award for Best Overall Experience with a
perfect score back in 2010 and I was pleased to deliver it in 30 years or less.
