DAY 6: OCTOBER 6th, 2008
LOCATION: Franny's (Flatbush Ave. and Prospect Place, Park Slope, Brooklyn)
ORDER: 1/4 an individual Provolone Piccante, 1/4 Sausage, 1/2 Margharita
GUEST(S): Garrett Palm, Angie Thurston, Robin Rothman
PIZZA REVIEW:
If Brooklyn and Naples meet on a map its at a hip Park Slope pizza joint called Franny's. The recipes were created in Italy while the ingredients were harvested in the fields of New York City area organic farms. The results are delicious! Franny's wood fired brick oven pizza taste so good, you may want to order two. This is also because the crust is so thin one won't likely satisfy your appetite. The service is quick too. I ordered, received, and finished eating my pizza in less than 15 minutes. I know, I should eat slower. I'M WORKING ON IT!
MISC.:
1. Garret Palm and Angie Thurston are ok with being called "Gangie."
2. My video camera ran out of battery power during the pizza day so I had to make due with my cell phone and still camera.
3. This was the first double date Robin and I have ever been on. Well, maybe she went on one before dating me but I don't want to think about that.

I'm a little surprised to see 3 stars for value. How much would a place have to charge to get knocked down to 2 stars?
For value, I take into account quality of the product (which is very high at Franny's), cost (which is also rather high), and how hungry I am after eating it. I was still pretty hungry after I ate my entire individual pie. Perhaps had Franny's charged $5 more, it would have dropped the value at least a half a point and if they charged $5 less, raised the value at least half a point. What is your feeling on Franny's, bb?
