DAY 4: OCTOBER 4th, 2008
LOCATION: Vinnie's Pizzera (148 Bedford Ave, Williamsburg, Brooklyn)
ORDER: 1 slice of buffalo chicken and bleu cheese and half a slice of Mac Attack
GUEST(S): Chris Camp
PIZZA REVIEW:
Loaded with taste and toppings, a single specialty slice at Vinnie's will hit the spot and then some. My Mac Attack slice could have fed a family of three with all the cheese, pasta, and bacon piled on it and yet somehow the crust showed no signs of straining under the magnitude of the toppings. Even though they may break the laws of physics, you won't have to "break the bank" when you come to Vinnie's. A slice and a coke for under $5 will leave you plenty of money leftover to shop at the nearby hipster secondhand stores so as to fit in with the Williamsburg locals.
MISC.: I met up with Chris Camp after he had just run 14 miles. I had sleep marks on my face from the subway. It's no wonder he can run a marathon nearly 40 minutes faster than I can (my best is 3:39).
