REVIEW: 
A date-worthy bar! BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse offers residents of Summerlin, Las Vegas a nice place to grab some craft beers and some quality Chicago style pizza. It's a combination near and dear to my heart (specifically, my stomach). With over 200 other locations, I am not alone. BJ's offers a menu full of food options including burgers, pasta, sandwiches, tacos, steaks, and both deep-dish and tavern style pizza! Yes, BJ's gives you the thickest and the thinest pizza options. My date and I opted for the thin tavern style pizza with sausage and found it paired well with the wings, salad and one of BJ's brews. A quick download of their app got us a free dessert called a pizza-cookie or a pizookie (R). While it is not a pizzeria, nor does it claim to be, I was impressed with the crisp-and-sturdy crust, melted mozzarella cheese, generous portion of rich tomato sauce and flavorful sausage. BJ's may be a sport's bar at its core but the high ceilings, kind servers, nonintrusive ambient music, family-friendly vibe and tasty pizza make it extremely welcoming and delicious.

1. Robin Rothman and I are in Las Vegas visiting Robin's parents and eating pizza. We didn't rent a car so we took a lyft to BJ's and, in doing so, gave ourselves permission to try about a half dozen of the homemade BJ's brand beers.

2. I joined the BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse rewards program by downloading their app and it immediately paid dividends. We got a free Pizzookie dessert triple chocolate cookie with ice cream and chocolate chips. A great way to stay awake in Vegas.
