REVIEW:
A deck stacked in everyone’s favor. Newcomer Ace's Pizza has raised the stakes when it comes to pizzerias in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. With the letter board menu, booth seating, and overall chill vibe, Ace's Pizza has all the benchmarks of a classic New York Pizzeria with one notable exception: Detroit style pizza. This exception is acceptable only because it is exceptional. Similar to other Detroit style pizzerias, the pies are baked in deep dish square pans and topped from edge to edge with cheese that is fried into the crisp outer edge of the crust. This fried cheese is known as frico and when done right, it's fricken amazing. At Ace's, they do it just right. In addition to traditional toppings such as pepperoni and mushroom, Ace's Pizza adds their own creations to the mix. For example, the Buffalo Chicken combines sliced red onions, spicy marinated grilled chicken, thinly sliced celery with dollops of blue cheese dressing on top of their signature frico crust to create a flavorful masterpiece that hits your tastebuds in all the right spots. It's perfect. Ace’s Pizza also delivers meaning if you are lucky enough to live nearby, they can bring that baked perfection right to you. If you're going to Ace's Pizza, deal me in!

2. When we're away from our apt, Robin Rothman checks on MaryLoo using our cat cam.
3. Angela DeManti is a code master - or at least she is very good at the game Codenames.
4. Maddy Mako stole a sausage from her brother's sandwich over 20 years ago.
5. Michael McLarnon recently had his bike stolen somewhere along the Bowery. If you have it, please return it.
