REVIEW:
Good pizza in a flash. With over 300 locations across the United States, Blaze Pizza is no longer "new" to the pizza scene, although it is new to me. With spotless dining areas, an app for ordering, and specifically built containers for its products, Blaze delivers a sleek and modern take on the traditional art of pizza-making.  Most importantly, this streamlined, new approach yield delicious results. According to wikipedia, the founders are Elise and Rick Wetzel of Wetzel's Pretzels and their goal was to make the Chipotle version of a pizzeria.  Goal achieved. Customers walk up to the counter and choose exactly what they want and how much they want of it from dough to drizzle. During pandemic times, the website and app provides the patron almost the exact same customization abilities. And, with high quality toppings ranging from artichokes to vegan chorizo, nine different cheeses and four different sauces, the number of possible combinations is infinite. One thing is for sure, whether you Build Your Own (BYO) or opt for a signature pie, that pizza will find its way into a 7 foot wide gas-powered oven and cook at temperatures upwards of 800° F.  It will also be cooked quickly or "fast-fire'd." I can imagine during the typical lunch hour, the indoor and outdoor dining areas packed to the brim with hungry on-the-go patrons. The beauty of the operation is that everything is on the clock. As soon as your order has been created, a very accurate estimated completion time is given. In the end, the pizza you get at Blaze is exactly what you want. I wanted a great pizza and that is exactly what Blaze baked me.

1. Two more days of quarantine and we'll be able to sit next to my in-laws. In the meantime, it was nice to sit at the same table but at a safe distance of 6 feet away.

2. They have neat local sodas on tap that are made with cane sugar.  Free refills!
