REVIEW:
Upstate farm-to-midtown-table. Stone Bridge Farm in Schuylerville, New York takes its produce directly to market in the form of pizza and salad ingredients at a storefront in the heart of Manhattan. Hydroponically raised herbs and spices along with environmentally minded techniques support the next generation by both looking out for the Earth and feeding its occupants. Stone Bridge Pizza and Salad utilizes the increasingly popular counter service model to usher the pizza making process like a fine tuned machine. Dough balls uniformly flattened by a dough press are topped with the patron’s desired ingredients before being sent to a gas powered oven for a quick bake and then promptly delivered to the customer's table. The pizzas are tasty and the fact that the store is supplied by a forward-thinking farm makes it all the more fulfilling. The high quality ingredients also retain optimal flavor by spending less time in transit. Pies are reasonably priced considering the location and it won’t be long before every table in the sizable dining area is occupied by a satisfied customer.

1. Fred Urfer is running the NYC marathon this weekend. It's his second marathon and he's shooting for a 3:30 time which is nine minutes faster than my best and over an hour better than my worst.

2. Robin Rothman wrote a song when we got home and it just about made me cry.  Man, she's good.  I hope to record it and post it on her soundcloud account here: https://soundcloud.com/robin-rothman-music
