DAY 17: OCTOBER 17th, 2017

LOCATION: Emily (919 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11238)

GUEST(S): Johnathan Ross

ORDER: 2 slices of The Classic (sauce, mozzarella), 2 slices of Emily (mozzarella, pistachios, truffle sottocenere, honey)

REVIEW:
Pizza: a love triangle. What started in college as a simple pizza date has lead to true love,  marriage, and the creation of Emily - one of the best new pizzerias in Brooklyn.  Owners, chef Matt Hyland and his wife Emily, share their love of pizza and the art of making it with every step of the process.  They source top quality ingredients including hand-made mozzarella.  Then, through precise preparation of the dough, meticulous attention to proven recipes, and a masterful hand at the wood-fired oven, every Emily pie is made with the utmost care.  Whether you opt for a traditional mozzarella and tomato Classic pie or a pistachio and honey strewn signature like the Emily, a delicious artisanal pizza will find its way to you.  If it's on the menu, it's gonna be good. They love making it almost as much as you'll love eating it.
