ORDER: 1 slice of Margherita (Fior di latte mozzarella, tomato sauce, fresh basil), 1 slice of Piccante (Fior di latte mozzarella, tomato sauce, spicy soppressata, red pepper flakes, extra hot honey), 1 slice of The Saucey (Fior di latte, house-made vodka sauce, fresh basil)

REVIEW: 
Great place to get sauced. Across the street from the warehouses and the U-haul and FedEx truck parking lots in Long Island City, Queens you'll find a hidden gem called Saucey Pizza Bar.  As the name implies, there's a full bar pumping out hot beats and a gas-powered brick oven pumping out Neapolitan style pizza. Each pie is expertly graced with savory tomato sauce, melted fior di latte mozzarella, and a variety of high quality ingredients. My favorite was the Piccante which features spicy soppressata, red pepper flakes, and hot honey. When the only complaint is that they are too small, you know they're good - particularly if you are a crust lover. The large, puffy outer edge is crisp-yet-chewy and brushed with butter post oven to ensure every last bite is tasty. If you happen to be fortunate enough to live in the vicinity of Saucey or if you need to rent a U-Haul, definitely check it out.

1. Lauren Stripling is a trivia genius. On top of being on Jeopardy! and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, she does Learned League (an online trivia community and competition that has been going since 1997) . I'm also involved in Learned League but Lauren is in the top tier (whereas I'm in the fifth tier). 

2. I rode a citibike to pizza after the first game of my Williamsburg Softball Fall League game. We won! Our team name is Propaganda. We're named after the bar that sponsors us. 

3. Johnston Cramer has a tattoo of a pizza slice!
