REVIEW:
Fast pizza food. Thanks to Pizza and Shakes, you can pop out of Carnegie Hall at intermission grab a quick meal and dessert and be back before the show resumes. By applying the Chipotle model to pizza, this new midtown pizzeria allows patrons to dictate what and how many ingredients go on their pizza during its preparation! Similar to &pizza, Pizza and Shakes serves one rounded oblong rectangular size at a single reasonable price regardless of the number of toppings while also offering some signature pre-built options for customers less excited to customize. I recommend building your own. See what you like among the ample high quality ingredients? Add it! I opted for a combination of low-moisture and fresh mozzarella cheeses with a sprinkle of parmesan upon my spicy tomato sauced pre-stretched thin crust. After the oven, I added basil and a garlic parmesan sauce around the perimeter. It was delicious. Of course, it it wasn’t, I had no one to blame but myself! I enjoyed my surprisingly filling pizza in the no-frills-nor-facilities dining area and chased it with scoop of gelato from the ice cream stand. Pizza and Shakes, what an appropriate name!

MISCELLANEOUS:
Louie Pearlman and Sean Taylor
1. Louie Pearlman knows the artist and song for very obscure horror films.
Post lunch gelato
2. Nothing goes better with pizza than ice cream. Pizza and Shakes seems to have figured out all of my weaknesses and put them under one roof - thank you!
