REVIEW:
Family history. Thanks to his own innovation and his family's continued commitment, Sebastian Conte’s 1936 bar has evolved into a Princeton, New Jersey pizza institution. Once pizza was added to the menu in 1950, local residents’ desire to eat it soon followed. Although the spacious dining area seats over a hundred people, expect a wait. Not only is demand for the pizza high, but the comforting non-rush vibe zaps any desire to leave. Knowing that someone with the last name of Conte is likely taking your order, serving your drink and making your pizza is as special as it is endearing. Conte’s caters to birthday parties, families, and little league teams on top of hosting a slew of regulars at the bar that stretches the entire length of the restaurant. Oh, and the pizza is good. All pizzas have a generous amount of buttery melted mozzarella and an ample portion of tangy tomato sauce. I recommend few, if any, toppings for the crisp, thin crusted pies. Conte’s is coming up on its 75th anniversary and hopefully they’ll be around for 75 more!

1. I found out today that the cocktail often referred to as an "Irish car bomb" is considered to be offensive and many bartenders refuse to serve it. You can still get it, just call it a "Dublin Drop" or an "Irish Slammer" and you should be all good - unless you've had too many of them.

2. Prior to pizza, we were all brought together to celebrate Justin Moran's 40th birthday. Molly Moran, Justin Moran, Ryan Moran, Stephanie, Ange DeManti, Mike Moran, Yanmei, Ellie, Robin Rothman, Shannon Krowicki, Dave Eng, Dan Benjamin and I took part in a murder mystery game that took place on a train. It was awesome and we caught the killer!
