DAY 21: OCTOBER 21st, 2020 LOCATION: DiGiorno Rising Crust
GUEST(S): Robin Rothman, Scott Wiener
ORDER: 2.5 slices of DiGiorno Rising Crust Four Cheese
REVIEW:
A bread-lovers frozen pizza. DiGiorno has cracked the bread code with their Rising Crust frozen pizza. Within 10 minutes of popping it into the preheated oven, the whole kitchen smells like freshly baked bread. If a soft and chewy crust is your favorite component of a pizza, give DiGiorno a try. Beyond the consistency, the expansive crust also provides a sturdy foundation for the sweet tomato sauce and quality toppings. I particularly liked the melted four cheese blend which not only tastes good but makes for some impressive cheese-pulls. The pizza cooks in under a half hour and feeds a family of four (or three adults). Their motto, "It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno" seems appropriate as the pizza is not unlike Pizza Hut only less expensive and available at your convenience.
