DAY 10: OCTOBER 10th, 2017

LOCATION: Prince Street Pizza (27 Prince St A, New York, NY 10012)

GUEST(S): Adam Kuban

ORDER: 1 slice of plain Sicilian, 1 slice of Spicy Spring (pepperoni)

REVIEW:
The Sicilian king of Prince Street Pizza! If you like Sicilian style square pizza, you will be hard-pressed to find a better spot than Prince Street Pizza. Located, as the name suggests, on Prince Street just north of Little Italy, this cozy slice joint might be easy to overlook if it weren't for the long line. Don't expect a seat, a restroom, or even a "thank you" from this no frills hole-in-the-wall - just expect some of the best pizza you've have ever had. With the customer demand so high and the size of the place so small, a fresh slice is all but guaranteed. I can't recommend the Sicilian enough but the other options look great as well. The Spicy Spring could very well be the best pepperoni slice in the city. The ingredients have something for every tastebud with its savory pecorino and generous application of curly pepperoni both of which rest upon a bed of creamy fresh mozzarella cheese and spicy chili pepper infused tomato sauce. Baked in a gas powered deck oven millimeters away, the crisp-on-the-outside-chewy-in-the-middle crust provides a delicious edible handle for a perfect slice of pizza for all to enjoy - royalty or not.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Sean and Adam

1. Adam Kuban is one of my favorite pizza people in the world.  He created SliceNY as a virtual meeting place before most people ever heard of Facebook. He will happily chat about everything pizza for hours.

2. Adam created his own pizzeria named after his daughter called Margot's. Its pizza is as gifted and talented as its namesake!
