DAY 4: OCTOBER 4th, 2016

LOCATION: Patsy's Pizzeria (801 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10017)

GUEST(S): My coworkers at CATES Tutoring and neighbors at WeWork

ORDER: 1 slice of pepperoni (round), 1 slice of pepperoni (square)

REVIEW:
In Patsy's we trust. With a name that dates back to 1933, Patsy's is synonymous with quality pizza. The relatively new Midtown East outpost is well on its way to maintaining that legacy. Superior ingredients including spicy hand-cut pepperoni, creamy fresh mozzarella cheese and diced basil enhance the perfectly savory tomato sauce. It won't be long before the pizzaioli adapt their coal oven techniques to the gas ovens on site to master the tried-and-true recipe that sets Patsy's apart from the typical neighborhood pizzeria. I recommend eating in the spacious two-story dining area and devouring the pies as soon as they arrive at the table. That said, the pies will travel should you choose to take them to go for say, an office pizza party. And if you spring for Patsy's for the party, you have earned the right to drink out of your "World's Greatest Boss" coffee mug.

MISCELLANEOUS:
My work buddies

1. CATES is a Educational services company that provides tutoring and test prep services on four different continents.

2. When you work with tutors you are surrounded by smart people.  I can't wait to do a pub trivia night with these guys.

3. Michele and Daria set this pizza party up and they made me the "guest of honor." This is as close as I've been to being a celebrity. Michele even invented a new term when she called me a "pizz-elebrity."
