2007 Slicey Award Arrives at Arturo's

Better late than never. Arturo's won the first ever Slicey Award back in 2007 - before the award was even called a "Slicey." Since the first award ceremony was recorded in my closet, the prize was merely a Photoshopped virtual award.  But, thanks to my brother's wood shop and wife's FIMO clay abilities, the Slicey has become a tangible reality.

I had the honor of presenting the long overdue placard to Scott, the current owner and son of the late Arturo Giunta.
