DAY 1: OCTOBER 1st, 2011
LOCATION: Pizza by cer te' (Sutton Place, NYC)
ORDER: 1 slice Margherita, 1 slice of Italian Wedding
GUEST: Robin Rothman, Lily Rothman, Paul Rothman
REVIEW:
A pie from the future, today. Cer te' offers an above average organic alternative to the typical slice cooked in a not-so-typical pizzeria. Being a designated "Green" restaurant, Cer te' uses recycled and repurposed materials wherever possible. Fortunately, the ingredients are the opposite of recycled. Organic and locally grown, the cheese and produce permit pizza eaters to eat fresh flavor combinations with far less guilt. I advocate opting for the specialty slices like the Italian Wedding but the traditional Margherita won't disappoint. Heck, just get one of each.
