So You Think You Can Be America's Next Top Pizza Video Editor?

Do you video edit? Are you any good at it? Well, consider this an invitation to prove it!

Next month is National Pizza Month (October) and this year, like last year, I am going to be video tape my quest for the 31 days of pizza. If you want to see the 31 videos from last year, go here...
Pizza Month '07

These videos reflect 31 different pizza locations and range in time from two to five minutes and all have a similar feel to them. This is because they were all edited on my computer.

2008 will be different! Although I intend to edit a majority of the videos, I am setting aside the raw footage of several days in October for editors to "strut your stuff". Then, in early December, there will be a screening (with pizza) for the videos.

Pizza Month 2008

Happy Pizza Month '08!

According to many unofficial websites, October is National Pizza Month. In order to observe this month "the right way", I intend to eat at least a slice of pizza a day. I hope to learn from past experience (Pizza Month '02, '03, '04, '05, '06 and '07) and make Pizza Month '08 not just the latest, but the greatest 31 Days of Pizza known to [this] man.

My rules are clear, and I shall intend to adhere to all three of them. They are…
(1) Eat at least one slice of pizza a day
(2) With at least one other person
(3) At a different pizza place each day

As with past years, I encourage everyone reading this to eat pizza every day of October as well. If you can't stomach 31 days, then settle for 30 (or 29, or 28…) Also, if you are in the NYC metropolitan area, know a great place to eat pizza, and don't mind the company…then please invite me along! No matter how you plan to observe National Pizza Month '08, always feel free to follow me in my pursuit of the 31 days on this journal but just so you can put your expectations at the appropriate level, you may want to view the archived Pizza Month '07, Pizza Month '06, Pizza Month '05, Pizza Month '04, Pizza Month '03, and Pizza Month '02 journals as a reference.

ANNOUNCEMENT: My seventh annual celebration of National Pizza Month (ie October) will be tracked here. Last year, Pizza Month '07 was a video journal of some of the greatest pizza places in and around New York City. This year, I intend to travel to Chicago, New Orleans, New Haven, and Philadelphia in my quest. Come back here each day to follow my progress toward my goal of conquering the 31 Days of Pizza!
